I look for the interactions around the tables, reactions during speeches and the way the atmosphere changes into the evening. Your gallery should bring back how the celebration felt as well as how the space looked.
Relaxed portraits near the celebration
The grounds around the farmhouse and tipi offer places to step away together without making a lengthy trip. We’ll pick a short portrait window around your plans, using the available light and keeping the photographs natural. A clear family group list also helps keep this part of the day organised.
From outdoor drinks to the evening party
If you’re planning plenty of time outdoors, we’ll discuss how photographs fit around drinks, dinner and the weather. Softer evening light can be a good reason for a brief second set of portraits. Later, the focus returns to the atmosphere inside the tipi and the people on the dance floor.
How much time should we allow for photographs?
Couple portraits usually take around 10–15 minutes while your guests are being called to dine. Family groups need their own time in the schedule, depending on your list. We’ll discuss both before the wedding, leaving room for the moments that happen naturally.
Can we book Tom or a team photographer?
