Photographing the oak-framed barn
The timber and natural light give the barn a warm, characterful setting for ceremonies and celebrations. I’ll photograph the wider room as well as the small interactions within it, so the gallery reflects your styling, your guests and the atmosphere of the day.
Garden portraits and outdoor celebrations
The gardens and outdoor ceremony area offer a lovely setting for photographs together and moments with guests. We’ll choose a suitable place for family groups and work around the way you’re using the venue. The best portrait location is one that works with the light and keeps you close to the celebration.
A short break for evening photographs
The surrounding fields can give portraits a quieter countryside feel, particularly when the evening light softens. We’ll decide on the day whether it is worth stepping outside again. If the weather keeps us indoors, the barn itself still gives the photographs a strong sense of place.
How much time should we allow for photographs?
Couple portraits usually take around 10–15 minutes while your guests are being called to dine. Family groups need their own time in the schedule, depending on your list. We’ll discuss both before the wedding, leaving room for the moments that happen naturally.
Can we book Tom or a team photographer?
